1. ICOL Granted Electricity Generation Licence

    ICOL was awarded an Electricity Generation Licence from OfGEM on 10 January 2014.  This is an important milestone in the development of the Inch Cape Project.

  2. Inch Cape Project Shortlisted To Apply for Investment Contract

    On 4th December 2013 the Department of Energy and Climate Change (DECC) announced the Inch Cape Offshore Wind Farm Project as one of seven UK offshore wind projects selected to make an application for an Investment Contract under the Final Investment Decision Enabling for Renewables (FIDeR) process. This process is in place to enable renewable energy developers to progress projects to take final investment decisions ahead of the Contract for Difference (CfD) regime which will come into effect in 2015 as part of Electricity Market Reform.

  3. Electricity Generation Licence Application

    Inch Cape Offshore Limited (company registration number SC373173) whose registered office is situated at 5th Floor, 40 Princes Street, Edinburgh EH2 2BY hereby gives notice that it has made an application to the Gas and Electricity Markets Authority whose principal office is situated at 9 Millbank, London, SW1P 3GE for an electricity generation licence under section 6(1)(a) of the Electricity Act 1989 authorising it to generate electricity in the area specified in Schedule 1A (attached) for the purpose of giving a supply to any premises in the area specified in Schedule 1B.

  4. Application Consultation

    Following submission of the Inch Cape Offshore Wind Farm applications in July, Inch Cape Offshore Limited have received representations from over 30 different organisations during the formal consultation period.  These cover a range of topics and highlight different areas where clarifications are needed and discussions are/have been required. 

  5. Anstruther Harbour Festival 2013

    In August 2013, for the second successive year, ICOL held a stakeholder engagement event at the Anstruther Harbour Festival. The Anstruther Harbour Festival is a community festival held each year in Anstruther, Fife. This year 104 people came to the Inch Cape stand to speak to the team about the Inch Cape project.
