1. Repsol Foundation Support Award-Winning Scottish Seabird Centre Conservation Project

    We are pleased to announce that the Repsol Foundation has provided funding to the Scottish Seabird Centre, North Berwick, to support their award-winning conservation project, SOS Puffin, aimed at increasing the puffin populations of the islands of Craigleith and Fidra. Part of the contribution will also go toward the Seabird Centre’s Puffin Fest, an annual festival to celebrate the return of the puffins to the local islands.

  2. Seal of Approval for Beach Clean up

    A team of enthusiastic volunteers from the Forth Estuary Forum, the Crown Estate, Forth Seabird Group, Fife Seal Group and Inch Cape Offshore Limited (ICOL) joined forces to clean-up the island of Inchkeith in the Firth of Forth.

    The Inch Cape project has been specifically designed to minimise potential impact on the seabird population and other marine features in consultation with the experts advisors and authorities. Inch Cape have carried out extensive environmental impact assessments and consultation over the five years of project development work.
